Whatever Craft Weekend!

This last weekend I had the pleasure of spending 3 days with an awesome group of ladies. I attended my first ever craft weekend. I never did too good with sleep overs as a child so this was pretty nerve wracking for me at the beginning. But let me tell ya, these ladies were so open and inviting. I, of course, forgot a few things and everyone was so eager to let me borrow whatever I needed. We had some awesome food, just hung out, and of course did some crafting/quilting/other projects.

Friday was the day we could get into the whatever craft house found here and were immediately blown away by all the awesome décor. I of course, loved the white kitchen with pops of color throughout the house. We had a late lunch that included Taco Soup, Potato Soup, Beer Bread, and Angel Food Dessert. Did a little crafty and some walmart runs then enjoyed lasagna, garlic bread, ceasar salad, apple crisp, and Rum Chata pudding. We were also welcomed with gifts from our host Becky! Body scrubs, bath salts, chocolate, and beautiful bracelets!

Saturday was filled with brunch (French toasts, scrambled eggs, and sausage), antiquing, massages, a little crafting, dinner (burrito bowls, fruit salsa with cinnamon chips, and sopapilla cheesecake), movies, a popcorn bar, and homemade daiquiris.

Sunday is when everyone thought to themselves “oh crap, this is the last day and I need to get “something” done” so there was quite a few hands at work, brunch (cinnamon rolls, deviled eggs, cream cheese sausage on toast? (sorry if that not what its call ladies), peaches and grapes accompanied with fresh flowers for each person), a little more sewing and scrapbooking, and then we had to pack up and hit the road back home.

Here are a few, and by a few, I mean tons, of pictures of the awesome weekend. And as I write this, I can’t help but sing “everything is awesome”!

Again, here is the link to the house.

So fun to meet new people and enjoy the ones who have been there before. Thanks for the memories!
